THE PBL: WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
The Pinoy Basketball League started from the brain of an amateur player named "Emil”. What he started during the past, the tournament that he had been through is a success for everyone. With the help of all the amateur players, they succeeded eventually. Now, Pinoy Basketball League or PBL once again was created to provide all the amateur players a chance to prove once again their talents and abilities as a sport athletic in outdoor or indoor basketball . Of course, the league will not be a success without exposures through Media, TV, Radio and Sponsors. PBL will focus on Marketing Strategies in order to achieved that goal.
THE VISION & OBJECTIVES
“Our vision and objectives is to educate Filipinos residing in UAE concerning the game of basketball through instruction, organized participation and support to persuade the Filipino enthusiasm for basketball”. Over the past years, our group has developed successful tournament into the parks and has undergone several transformations through the past years to strengthen the quality of competition in basketball sports and keep the Philippines' peculiarity as one of the world’s best as far as the basketball sports is concerned. Through the years, our group has been acknowledged as the structure of future basketball superstars. As these athletes come and go in search of greener pastures in professional basketball tournament, the PBL was created by continuing its mission of developing fresh potentials athletes through companies that certainly believes in its thrust.
THE FIRST LEAGUE(Indoor)
PBL First League(Indoor) was a success indeed. In Fact, Ten(10) Teams was confirmed to joined the league but unfortunately there is a deadline on submission on entries so, Six(6) Teams only made it on the deadline. PBL has standard procedure in doing the Team Schedule games. Before the Opening ceremony, all the games schedules are already done. To avoid such confussion and conflicts with the players who participated in the league. Unlike others they do for the money, but PBL they do for the Systematic League.
THE FIRST LEAGUE(Outdoor)
PBL First League(Outdoor) was a success once again in Abu Shagara Park. There are 10 Teams confirmed and joined the Summer League 2009. Its a PBL success again and this Summer League 2009 was sponsored by Cash Quick.
